Voluntary Benefits

Carpenters Combined Funds and Highmark has contracted to provide you with dental and vision benefits. These benefits are voluntary. The vision benefit is administrated through Davis Vision. You can join Davis Vision at any time through out the year. The dental benefit is administrated through United Concordia. The enrollment period for the dental plan is January - March.

Greater Pennsylvania Carpenters’ Fund is pleased to provide you with an opportunity to substantially reduce the amount that you need to spend on your vision care. Voluntary Dental Benefits

In 2007, you could elect to enroll in ConcordiaPLUS, the dental HMO that is already offered or you may enroll in ConcordiaAccess, a new dental plan that provides you with more freedom of choice. The ConcordiaPLUS plan is a managed care dental plan that requires your selection of a Primary Dental Office (PDO) from our ConcordiaPLUS network for you and each of your covered family members. The ConcordiaAccess plan is a passive PPO plan for your diagnostic, preventive and basic services and a discount plan for all other dental services.
